About Me

The name of my Practice originated from my initials KDM (Kenetra Devonne Moore). I thought it would be a creative way to connect with branding something I've grown so passionate about.

 I have a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. Liberty University. Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCMHC), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). I have also obtained my Certification as a Sexuality Coach, which has extended my services to support individuals and couples that may struggle with intimacy and other sexual related barriers in their lives.  I have over 15 years of professional experience in counseling and direct care of both Mental Health and Substance Abuse populations. I have experience in supervising, operations management, and Developmentally delayed youth/adolescents.  

 I am a Charlotte NC native and  married. I come from a family that has generations of drug addiction and alcoholism, which in turn motivated and drove me into my current profession. I completed a Leadership and Development training of experiential therapy to enhance my ability to support the populations that I serve. I believe that everyone has a role in supporting their fellow neighbor and that we, as human beings, have something to offer others in order to make this universe more harmonious, be it on an individual or global level.  

I started in the direct care field in 2003 and the journey has been more than I could have ever hoped for or imagined for myself. I must give appreciation to those that trusted me in the early stages of my career and took a chance on taking me under their wing! Thank you to T Scott Morrow, Zo Morrow II, and Latrice Hogue (SunPath LLC) for pushing me into my destiny. Thank you Stacey & Rulondo Anderson (ACCG) for grooming me into the business owner that I have now become. Thank you to Alice Harrison and Hope Haven for so many years of changing lives in the area of recovery!

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Theoretical approached. I have extensive experience in psychodynamic and crisis related interventions. 

I have contracted with a Psychiatric Facility that treats recovering Opioid addicts that require Substance Abuse counseling. I have experience in working with both Mental Health and Substance Abuse individuals. I have worked with youth/ adolescents/adults. 

We are also very excited to extend the opportunity for practicum/internships that are open to working with our agency!!

I offer Clinical Supervision for individuals as well as agencies seeking to have staff Licensed/Credentialed for Substance Abuse Therapy. Please contact me directly to discuss these packages.
